Directions from Copenhagen Airport to the Scandic:

Take the train to Copenhagen Central Station “København Hovedbanegård”. The journey takes about 15 minutes. At the Central Station you use the exit to “Vesterbrogade”. Follow the street “Trommesalen” and then “Gammel Kongevej”. After a 5 minute walk you arrive at the Scandic Hotel at “Vester Søgade”

Transportation in Copenhagen

Copenhagen offers various possibilities for public transportation. You can jump on the bus, get on the train directly to Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). Due to the good infrastructure, it’s very easy to get around in Copenhagen.

The meeting venue is situated within walking distance of Vesterport and the Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård).

Tickets: The same ticket can be used in the metro, bus, train and harbor bus. Always have your ticket with you in case a controller wants to see it. Traveling without a valid ticket will result in a fine.
Taxi: All taxis run on meter and they all take credit cards.

Insurance

The registration fee does not include the insurance of participants against personal accidents, illness, cancellations by any party, loss or damage to personal possessions, theft. All participants are strongly advised to make adequate personal insurance arrangements to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects prior to travel.

Letter of Invitation

The Organizing Secretariat will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to registered participants upon request, if needed for visa requirements. Please note that such a letter only aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Congress and it is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to cover fees and other expenses or to provide any financial support. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the delegate. Please send your request to the ETA Standing Office: specifying your full name and address, passport number and date of birth. The request will be met only if the delegate has completed the registration process and after receipt of the appropriate registration payment.

Programme changes

The organisers do not assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances.

Smoking Policy

For the general comfort and health of all participants, smoking is not permitted at any of the official functions during the Congress. This includes all scientific sessions, business and other meetings, evening functions and registration area & foyers.

Photography Policy

The ETA has adopted a ‘No photography’ policy. Kindly appreciate that taking photos of posters and presentations during the lectures is not permitted.
